About the writer
Rachel “Toni” Williams is a truly eclectic renaissance woman: creative, artistic, and intellectual, with a keen analytical mind enveloped into an expressive personality. Opinionated, forthright, passionate, kind and generous are just a few of the adjectives one might use when describing this gifted songwriter.
At the very core of Rachel beats a heart so attuned to the promptings of the Spirit that a whisper in the wind can sow a seed which sprouts into an idea that grows into a song. Most of her writings are worship-centered but her heart is so tender, from a heightened sense of empathy to the sufferings of another, that she loves to write and share, with great feeling and gentleness, encouraging words wrapped into a melodic blanket.
Her greatest desire is that God be glorified and his people encouraged through the music which tumbles forth like a waterfall, nourishing the thirsty soul of the listener.
Rachel is also a professed member of the Secular Franciscan Order, a community of Catholic men and women in the world who seek to pattern their lives after Christ in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi.
